we followed you on your lantern ghost story walk evening 15.02.2010. We loved it very much, and with the stories and sound of the sea behind us, giving it that extra chill to the tale. You left us all with a final saying that night, that many people takes roads to avoid their destiny, yet destiny is always on the path you least expect. This couldnt be more true, to the point where is occured us a car crash that night on our way home (nothing serious). but from our group, it has left a few woundering, wether it was destiny, or a curse!. Never the less, we shall return for more of your events. many thanks, and the best of luck with your future groups of spook seekers.

ITS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! and to be in st ives and here the waves crashing on the rocks leaves you up at night for hours finking of the ghosts of stives

I love the Ghost Walk as there is something very special created by walking around the town by lantern light at night hearing ghostly tales with the waves crashing away in the distance. The best however is the history walk Shanty Baba does that I went on during the September festival, as you see things that you have never noticed before, as well as learning a great deal of history about the town in a fun and entertaining way, with many tales and myths along the way as you'd expect. You even get to go and have a swift half down the pub afterwards if you wish and hear yet more yarns and tales of the various characters that make up the town of St Ives.

The lanten walk is one of the highlights of our holiday every year. The CD is a must, great fun listening in the car with the children. You cannot go to St Ives and not go on one of these walks!! A real must!

Hi Shanty, just like to say a huge thank you for your amazing ghost walk. I have been longing to do ono for a while now and was'nt disappointed. My partner and I were equally impressed with the amount of stories you told and how haunting you made them sound. Hoping to do one in Whitby in October but your one has a lot to live up to.

We travelled down to do the ghost lantern walk last night 5.9.10 and we were definately not disappointed. We enjoyed it tremendously and would highly recommend it. Shanty is a wonderful story teller and brings each tale to life. You cannot miss this !!!

The Ghost Walk was fantastic! From the moment the bell rang for 9pm and a cloaked figure carrying a lantern appeared, it was incredible and I was transorted back in time. The art of the storyteller was well and truely displayed. Will go again (We went aprox 3 years ago)

Hello, thank you for an interesting ghost walk, I enjoyed it very much. Particularly the part when you took us to the grave yard as it made it that little bit creepier. I shall want to do the walk again if I come to St Ives. 16/3/2011 12:09:41 pm
