As a fund raising event for the 2013 St Ives Literature Festival,
I will doing an evening of storytelling at Cafe Art in St Ives.
Food, drink and a bar, along with music from the
"Bootlegger Sound System"
I have been performing my new Victorian Paper Toy
Theatre Show "Robin Hood" since December last year, after
it's premier at the St Ives Library.

To celebrate this years International Talk Like A Pirate Day on 19th September I will be doing a sound installation as part of the St Ives September Festival called "You have the word of Long John Silver", celebrating the actor Robert Newton's role as Long John Silver. It will be performed around the town at different locations during the day.

It is what I call a "Sunday Evening Project", trying to produce something in couple of hours from start to finish.
I told a photo of this Robin in our garden the other day. By the size of it, it had an egg-nogging good time at Christmas and well and truly over indulged.
Yesterday was the last day of another "proper shop" closing it's doors for the last time in St Ives. It's a subject I go on about on my St Ives Comedy Walk as the town moves further away from reality towards a total tourist industry theme park. Who is moving in? I haven't heard the rumours yet, but I will report back when I do.

A photo of me entertaining a few of the 8734 pirates gathered on the Prom at Penzance on 25/6/2011 to smash the previous record for the largest gathering of Pirates ever on our planet.
As official "entertainer" I had a great time keeping the crowds happy while the counting was going on.
